The camera lens is part of a hard-surface library started in 2013 for various production work.

Sub-Div, Quad Based Modeling

The 3D asset is based on a sub-div quad based modeling workflow for up & downscaling purposes. The modeling techniques were a combination of sub-div & spline modeling.
